You may recall Grande Pointe was one of the "hardest hit" communities during the 1997 Red River Flood. I was one of the fortunate few in the community to save my home with the exception of extensive damage to my finished basement. In the summer of 1997, I had my basement completely gutted and treated 3 times with various disinfectants, etc. I then patiently waited until the late fall to have it reconstructed again. Unfortunately, over the ensuing months a mould problem developed and I was left with the conclusion that I had a "sick" home. I hired Total to completely "redo" the basement work. Mr. Malenfant and his crew came in and did an excellent job. They were thorough and timely, the jobsite was always clean and respect was always shown for the fact that they were in "my home". I have experienced no further problems since they completed their work. Luckily we close Total Insurance owned and operated by Cam Malenfant. This man is very dedicated to his work, a hard worker, very honest and thoughtful.
